NEXT CRAFT & PLAY SESSIONS:
Mon 5th, Tue 6th and Wed 7th January 10am-11.30am
Craft & Play is a calm, Montessori-inspired stay-and-play session centred around open-ended creativity and child-led exploration. Designed for babies, toddlers and older children, this session offers a gentle space where children can follow their curiosity, move at their own pace and create in their own way.
Our beautiful Montessori-inspired room is thoughtfully set up to invite play, imagination and connection. Children are encouraged to explore a carefully chosen selection of open-ended craft materials, recycled “junk” resources and cardboard, allowing them to build, invent and create anything they choose. There’s no set outcome and no pressure — the focus is on the process, not the product.
Alongside open crafting, each session includes a gentle story time, a messy play tray and a room full of engaging toys. Babies are very welcome and can enjoy age-appropriate toys, playmats and bouncers in a calm, supportive environment.
As the session comes to a close, we gather for simple group games and bubbles, offering a playful, joyful ending to our time together. Face painting is also available for children who would like to take part.
Children are free to join in as much or as little as they like throughout the session — whether that’s getting deeply involved in crafting, exploring the toys, joining the games, or simply observing. Mess is welcomed as part of the learning process… and the cleaning is taken care of.
Snacks and food are welcome (please no nuts).
Price: £10 per child (adults go free)
Sibling discount available (siblings under 18 months are free unless an additional adult is attending with them - if so please buy a sibling ticket.)
